About St.Joseph's Hill S.S.S.
St. Joseph’s Hill Secondary School–Kyembogo is a Catholic-founded secondary school in Kyenjojo District, Uganda. Established in 1996, the school is dedicated to academic excellence, leadership, faith formation, and service. Through both day and boarding programs, it serves students from across Uganda while fostering personal growth, character development, and community involvement. The school’s partnership with institutions such as the University of Notre Dame helps expand educational opportunities and global perspectives for its students.

Our story began when Ashley, the sister of Co-Founder Ryan, had the opportunity to teach at St. Joseph’s Hill Uganda through the University of Notre Dame. During her time there, she witnessed firsthand the challenges many students faced in accessing education. She shared how financial barriers prevented some students from attending school and how a lack of educational opportunities could significantly limit their future success.Inspired by her experience and the needs she observed, we felt called to take action. We founded Future Minds of Uganda to help provide financial assistance to students who might otherwise be unable to attend school. Our mission is to expand access to education and empower young people with the opportunities they need to build brighter futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.
